Have you ever heard of ‘Rombengan’? It’s an open market selling used clothes, bags, shoes, comforters and a lot more branded items. It will only available during ‘Tamu’ or at the certain places. Well, I’ve heard of it 3 years ago but never come across my mind to buy things from ‘Rombengan’. Anyway, last year while I was in a hotel line, most of my colleagues talk about ‘Rombengan’ some even get a cheaper branded shoes at RM15, it looks new though, some bought a very nice branded shirt at RM5, some telling us that they bought a very nice comforter / bed sheet (Queen / King Size) at RM15-20 from 'Rombengan'. Well, I always heard them talking about branded items with cheaper prices though, no other place but from ‘Rombengan’. They even made a date to meet each other at the specific ‘Rombengan’ and shop together-gather…haha. So, one day I went together with my aunty just to feel the ‘Rombengan’ environment and yes it’s true, mostly branded lah… you can find G2000, Esprit, MNG, Giordano, Polo, Gap and a lot more branded items and to my surprise I saw even Datin and rich people also shop there….opsss! I can’t believe the power of ‘Rombengan’. Anyway, since it’s my first time I didn’t buy anything cause I’m confuse what to get, there are so many selection, so I just do my ‘Rombengan’ tour that time, where my aunty bought a bed sheet, hand bag and a few nice shirt, price between RM5 – 15. And yesterday during lunch time was the latest I’d been to Donggongon ‘Rombengan’ where I suppose to buy my kids bag for their stuff to nursery but unfortunately not much selection of bags though and I ended up didn’t buy anything, what a wasted time…*sigh* Infact time too short bah tu…haha

Surprise!!!

I don’t like surprise at all… Well, it happened when my sister did it to all of us yesterday. Well, she has finally completed her MAS training with everything goes well, she passed all her tests (even failed one of the subject, but passed after re-seated). And she has done her flying practical (even was shouted, scolded and all by her leading – well, I believe it’s part of the practical, so-called orientation). Anyway, it’s good for her, to build confidence bah...sabar saja lah kio bell. After done with all that, they’d been given 5 days off (17-21 June 2009), so, she mentioned earlier that she wanted to go back home during these days, but flight are fully booked (KUL – BKI) so, nothing she can do. I’d tried to help her with Air Asia booking but she said ‘no lah Kak, mahal bah’ so I said ‘oklah, it’s up to you. So I thought that’s it.

Hmmm… I can sense something is not right, so I called Abell around 4pm yesterday, asking where is she, she said, ‘nantilah you call me Kak, sa tengah cuci kain bah ni’ but I can hear clearly from the background it’s like in the shopping mall.

Anyway, around 7.30pm my aunties and I are about to leave the house for groceries shopping, where suddenly a white Myvi came by and stop near to our house, and I pretty recognized the driver and her companion, they’re Abell’s friend, Alisha and Michelle…. then Alisha came down and took a luggage from the bonnet and send to our house while saying ‘Rushell asked me to send this luggage’ then we said ‘apalah si Abell ni kasih susah ko saja’. Suddenly we heard a loud shout + laugh from the car and there you go, to our surprise Abell is back home!!! Everyone is happy especially my kids, my niece and nephew to see Abell finally back for the 2^nd short break… She’d shared a lot of stories about her experienced which is very good and I can see more improvement in her in-terms of grooming, dressing, manners and all. Wish you always the very best bell!

Poor Car...

Our poor car was “admitted at the hospital” since yesterday for a minor “operation”. Oh well, it was hit by a lorry pick-up 2 weeks ago where the front bonnet has a little dented that need to be repair. It might be very difficult for us without car especially to work and sending kids to school since we only have one car. Ohhh…we was told by the mechanic that it will takes approximately 10 - 12 days to get our car repair (with some additional problem need to be fix as well - one and for all…*sigh*). However, we’re lucky that the yellow Kancil is available for us for the time being, our thanks to Aunt LC that she’s ok with that (well, she has her new car anyway…). But ohhh… need to be very patient eh within these days as the yellow Kancil has NO AIRCOND, just imagine driving in the afternoon with the bright sun huh… phew!

Visit to Lokawi Zoo…

I feel sorry to Alyssa that I’ve overlooked the submission date for their School visit to Lokawi Zoo. The letter was given in May 2009 where the visiting date is 11 July 2009. I was thinking to submit the signed form with the payment at least 2 week before the visit. So, actually Lyssa has reminded me to submit the form with payment before the recent school break but I told her to do it after the holiday.

Then, yesterday I’d asked her Teacher about it, and too bad they‘re not accepting any late participation. Oh no! what a bad Mummy I am, how could I do this to my girl. Lyssa feel so sad and down as she's really want to join her classmate and other schoolmates to the visit (even she’d been there once). She said to me, ‘Mummy, I must go’… as to comfort her, I said ‘yes, we will go together’. She said ‘no, I want to follow the bus from school’. Oh no! I hope she’s fine when nearer to the date… pity her…

DIABETES TREATMENT

An email received from a friend.... I think it's good to share to you all a 'diabetes treatment', since nowadays most people suffered from a diabetic...

Please note that another name for Lady Finger (Bhindi ) is " OKURA ".

Last month in one of TV program I learnt of a treatment of Sugar (Diabetes).

Since I am diabetic, I tried it and it was very useful and my Sugar is in control now. In fact I have already reduced my medicine. Take two pieces of Lady Finger (Bhindi) and remove /cut both ends of each piece. Also put a small cut in the middle and put these two pieces in glass of water. Cover the glass and keep it at room temperature during night. Early morning, before breakfast simply remove two pieces of lady finger (bhindi) from the glass and drink that water. Keep doing it on daily basis. Within two weeks, you will see remarkable results in reduction of your SUGAR. My sister has got rid of her diabetes. She was on Insulin for a few years, but after taking the lady fingers every morning for a few months, she has stopped Insulin but continues to take the lady fingers every day. But she chops the lady fingers into fine pieces in the night, adds the water and drinks it all up the next morning.

Please try it as it will not do you any harm even if it does not do much good to you, but you have to keep taking it for a few months before you see results, as most cases might be chronic.

What a bad afternoon for Lyssa…

Last Tuesday Hubby decided to take a day leave instead of half day for some reason. Since Lyssa and JBoy knew it they refused to go to the Nursery after school, they want to be with their Daddy at home. So, Hubby brought them to Tanaki home and at around 5pm, I’d received a call from Hubby (he sounds like an emergency) saying that Lyssa fell down while playing with JBoy and hit her shoulder badly and some scratches on her face and ear… to my surprise, I'd asked him with anger “how could it happened, you were there looking after them” He told me, it happened split second, while Lyssa and JBoy playing around the house, running here and there, suddenly when JBoy gets really excited he hardly push Lyssa from the back where Lyssa fell down and knocked her shoulder on the wooden flower stand and get scratches on he face and ear… oh no! I just couldn’t wait to see Lyssa that evening, wondering how bad it was…. and the moment I saw her, she was crying and said ‘painful’ and yes it look very painful! pity her, just look at this… what a bad afternoon *sigh*

Jumping Like Frog…

Ermm… I don’t know how to say this but on last Saturday I was called for an interview to one of the 4 Star Hotel in town after an application sent 5 months ago and that was before I join current company (as advised and recommended by one of my ex-boss...thx boss!), but no news until I got the offer of my current job (quite good offer *wink*). Anyway, since I still prefer Hotel & Tourism Industry why not right?... Well, I don’t really like jumping here and there but good offer that count…*grin*. However, I’m still thinking whether to take it or leave it? If I take it means I don’t have to do sales anymore, as I notice myself that since I’m involves with sales, it never ends a year, it always ends within 6 months… too bad huh. Guess, I’m not good in ‘jual kelentong’, hahahaaa…

I’m so happy to hear that Abell will back home today for just a short break. However, she’s so worry on her standby flight in other words open ticket (well, what to do cheaper fare @ RM120+ return, kuang kuang kuannnggg…), it might be very difficult to get flight seat but finger crossed, may she can manage to get seat no matter how late it will be. Another Bad News…

I was shocked when my cousin called a moment ago informing that another bad news… oh no! what else bad news this time? My cousin told me that “the Bride Grandma’s passed away this afternoon” what!... we just saw her Grandma at the Bride wedding's yesterday, she’s still look strong and healthy in her 87 years old, it’s impossible she died of sickness. Nope, she died of accident on the way back to Tuaran from the Bride’s house in KB. I came to understand that a 4WD driven by her uncle, was heading towards Tuaran where he lost control of the vehicle and met self accident along the road. Again, it’s really a bad news, I feel very sorry, my condolence to the Bride for the lost of her Grandma and to all the family members, may her soul rest in peace…

I hope everything will be fine with the couple's wedding reception at Hyatt tomorrow…

Wedding At KB…

Yesterday, I’ve attended a friend wedding in Kota Belud. We’re a little bit late for the wedding ceremony held at SIB Church, but at least we managed to witness the couple exchanged their vow (+ French kiss after unveiled the bride, so sweet! *wink*). Thereafter, to the bride residence, only 10 minutes away from the SIB Church. As usual, while waiting for ‘makan-makan’, we're entertained by the KB’s traditional ‘Gong’ beat, karaoke and of course chit-chatting among long time friends (just imagine how’s the stories goes after so long we never meet each other, more than 3-5 years…) Anyway, just after ‘makan-makan’, and while enjoying the karaoke songs, suddenly we heard a loud ‘BANG!’ from the roadside (just in front and about 3KM away from the bride’s house) and I could clearly see from far that something got hit and it dropped…oh my GOD!, that must be an accident happened!… then everyone running towards the scene, some people are not brave enough to see nearer even myself. One of my friend said ‘I wanted to and must see how bad it is, let’s go!’ (Oh no! too much speculation in my head) however, we couldn’t see how it was as it's surrounded by many peoples. Then, my friend’s hubby immediately approached us and advised not to proceed any step further as it’s really bad, without too much questions, we turned back to the bride’s house. We only heard people talking about the accident, that a 4WD rammed a motorcyclist from the back and hit his head badly (we was told that motorcyclist is actually attending the wedding… pity him). It’s really a bad news that less than an hour we were informed that the motorcyclist died at the Hospital. I feel very sorry to the late and the family members, may his soul rest in peace…

We'd tried not to in touch with my sister Abell (purposely, just to leave her alone, it might helps her to build confidence and atleast she doesn’t miss us so much...hehe) but that only last for 2 days as she send me text yesterday saying ‘Kak, d training is really tough, I just don’t understand it. D lecturer also garang, like to shout… duii takut sa oh. I’m speechless when everyone shares their working experienced & I’m nothing to share about work…mcm mana lah sa ni Kak…’ Then, I called her and as usual gave her advises, hmmm… she sounds cool but she’s worry much on her exam though as passing mark is 75 and if you fail you can re-sit but passing mark increase to 90…phew! The worst thing she told me, if you still fail after re-sit the exam, you’ll be terminated and you’ll still need to pay the bond of RM20K… (no wonder lah worry sampai mo nangis...) but how could that be? who doesn’t worry right? Anyone out there happen to know how exactly the bonding works? would appreciate if anyone could share atleast something extra info we know….. As far as I’m concerned when reading the agreement you need to pay back if you get disciplinary action. Hmmm…. Pending for further findings…*blur*

Doesn’t Like To Be Late…

Yes… it’s JBoy, he doesn’t like to be late to school especially on Monday - their school assembly and Wednesday - their class PJ. The first time when he was late to school assembly, from the car he saw all students in their line, has started singing and as he went out from the car he couldn’t bother his school bag anymore, he just ran toward his class line up and straight away go with the flows… I can see his face mad at me, it seems that he’s telling me ‘that’s why lah you all late sending us to school… I have missed some song already… (oppsss, sorry boss!)’.

Then the next time when he was late again, also during school assembly as he can see all students in their line singing….. wah!, I tell you, from the car he’s already mad, he scolded us saying that ‘you lah Daddy, Mummy… kamu ni lambat butul mo hantar kami’. Hubby and I felt really sorry for that dear kids, need to fully concentrates with the timing… Daddy and Mummy will promise not to be late again especially during your assembly and PJ ok… muah! (well, paling lambat pun less than 10 minutes, except for heavy jammed... but time is gold!, so...*wink*)

SBT (Skim Bantuan Tuisyen)

Last 2 weeks I represented my Mom to the Parents and Teachers meeting at my niece and nephew schools. During the meeting, I was brief by the Teacher all about school fees, computer fees and all, that are paid up to certain month and most of the payment was deducted from the ‘Bantuan PIBG’ which my niece and nephew are entitled to RM250 per person (wow! this is good though atleast it helps a little burden to my Mom…). At the same time, I was asked by the Teacher, how come they never attended the ‘SBT’ class since January 2009, which I wasn’t aware that they need to attend though… I was like blur, I don’t know what is ‘SBT’ at first (malunya). The Teacher said to me that the ‘SBT’ fees has also been paid and my niece and nephew rugi if they didn’t attend the class, its their own good juga, can improve their learning skills. So, I told the Teacher I’ll make sure they’ll attend the class and I need to find a solution for transportation as their school bus are unable to fetch them after 3pm. Their ‘SBT’ class is every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 3 – 4.15pm, and the best I can think of is they need to walk to the my kids nursery after class, less than 10 minutes walk (but we’re not comfortable with them walking alone without companion, looking through the unexpected incident nowadays). And guess what…? luckily one of my kids nursery assistant need to walk to the school to fetch her daughter therefore, my niece and nephew can follow them walk together to the nursery….. oh great! problem solved so far…*wink*

Bad Day...

This morning when we got back in to the car after drop Zachary’s down at the nursery, our car suddenly giving us problem, it just cannot start after a few try… we need to catch up time sending Alyssa and JBoy to school but it’s just cannot start at all! (we expected something to do with the battery or the alternator)... oh my! the time shows 7.45am already. I called Aunt LC for help…15 minutes later Aunt LC came, and it’s too late to send Alyssa and JBoy to school, therefore we just asked them to stay at the nursery, luckily our car broke down just around their nursery compound (too bad they’re absence for the 1^st time since school opening *sigh*). Then Aunt LC drove to her office and from there hubby took over her car (pinjam kereta dulu bah…hehe). After sending me to work, Hubby go straight away do what’s necessary with our problem car (lucky he was able to take half day emergency leave). Well, I called Hubby around 11.30am, just to check if he's able to fetch me for lunch and he said he’ll come at 12noon to fetch me. I asked him what was wrong with the car, he told me he need changed the battery… phew!

I thought problem solved and that's it, but… the second time!! our car broke down at JKR compound after sending the Virgin Coconut Oil order to my friend, and oh no! this time I really need to catch up time for afternoon meeting, I don’t think our car can start sooner at that time, therefore I get my friend Sharon to send me to work (tapi dekat saja bah, around Grace Square…thanks kio Sharon *wink*), and very sorry to Hubby that I have to leave him alone there (at that time 2 JKR staff has approached him to help anyway *grin*). Hubby ended up took 1 day emergency leave just to settle our car problems… what a bad day huh…*sigh*

MAS Cabin Crew... (Part 2)

...and finally my sister Abell was accepted as one of the MAS Cabin Crew. She left for KL on last Sunday with an early flight at 0720 hours for 3 months training (hopefully everything goes well in her training otherwise...?*&#@?) Wish you all the best kio Bell!.

Well, this is the first time that Abell stay apart from us, she must be very sad but we all at home has given her good advises before she left since this is her very first time job.

and guess what??.... this is her 'sms' the moment she reached at the MAS Academy... 'Kak, I want to go back home, I feel like crying now'... then I immediately called her, nothing else but to advise her this and that and she just couldn't talk as I know she's crying. Ohhh... knowing her, she's just not ready to stay apart from us especially my Mom (masih mau kena manja bah...hehe). But, we all know that soon or later she'll slowly could take it...(bila lagi mau belajar hidup berdikari kan...*grin*)

Sshhh… kids are taking their afternoon nap now after tired swimming the whole morning… too bad, not in the big swimming pool though, but the plastic swimming pool belong to their cousins, hehe… and they’re really happy and had fun Sunday!. While happy swimming, JBoy said to me, “Mummy beli lah bah satu untuk kami, simpan tempat Nina, supaya kami boleh berenang hari-hari” Oh no! berenang hari-hari lagi tu, nanti bill air berlipat ganda pula… I just said to him, “bah nanti lah kalau saya jumpa di kedai” It's better not to promise as knowing JBoy, he will ask for it everyday until you get one for him…

Dad has promised to his kids for a trip to KL when times come… he even gave a very good impression, feeling, excitements and happiness to his kids when talking about KL, especially Sunway Lagoon Theme Park... the kids get really excited and keep asking when will be the KL trip??? Unfortunately, the question stopped awhile when their Dad was called by the Lord to eternal rest…*sigh*

However, to fulfill Dad promised to the kids… Air Asia flight ticket has booked 3 months in advanced (in order the get the cheaper price of course…*wink*) and there you go… my niece and nephew together with my mom, my sister, aunties and uncle are leaving for 9.00 am flight to KL today for a week (Jalan-jalan and cuti-cuti Malaysia...*grin*)

Ohhh dear… my kids must be missing them so much! my daughter even cried after sending them to Terminal 2 just now… pity her (no fighting friends for a week huh...). Now, just waiting for "ole-ole"...

Not much feedback about the gathering so far, but it’s still too early anyway…*wink* Hmmm... last week I’d handled a site inspection at @mosphere Revolving Restaurant & Bar! with an International Company, as they’re looking for a nice place and nice food for their group dinner function. After the site inspection, I’d offered them to have a Canapes served with Coffee or Tea, well, would be happy to offer them lunch but they’re rushing to another destination that day. However, the organizers and the 3 participants enjoyed the Canapes and saying that they’ve chosen the right place for their group dinner function of 65pax. Therefore, I'd an idea why not for our 1^st time Penampang Bloggers Gathering go for Canapes at @mosphere (I'm not trying to promote @mosphere but I think it's a suitable place), where we can have our afternoon talks, chit-chatting and I’m sure it’s enough time to do our digging who’s behind the bloggers right *wink*? CNY COUNTDOWN…

At late evening yesterday, we’re talking about fireworks at midnight for the CNY countdown… my niece, nephew, cousins and my kids are excited waiting anxiously to see those splashing in the sky (just looking from the house compound ya…*grin*). Too bad that around 11pm my kids look so sleepy but refused to go to bed…*sigh* they rather stays seated at the sofa. However, 10 minutes to midnight, fireworks started bang here bang there... and they stayed wide awake and run outside the house compound and enjoyed the fireworks... see what I got here, the budak kampung in action…

Oppss!!! Hubby also join the kiddies club huh...

JBoy has requested for power rangers birthday cake few months ago since Lyssa 5th birthday in August last year. Well, just before I place my order with Anies, JBoy changed his mind 5 days before his birthday, he said “Mummy I want my face on my birthday cake”… oppsss!!! what a special request eh… I was thinking if Anies can do it? At the same time I remembered my friend Sharon ever mentioned that her sister’s engagement cake was their face on it. Then I called her to find out the info and got the answers, checked with Anies as well if she can do the special request cake but too bad she’s unable to do it so far (but soon or later buli bah tu kan Nies…*wink*). Here it goes…

MAS Cabin Crew…

Last 2 weeks my sis tried her luck with MAS Cabin Crew interview, held in Magellan Sutera Hotel. She’d gone through a few steps in the interview. She told us how it was;-

Day 1

Checks;-

*Height (requirement must reach 157cm) – passed, she’s 157.5cm *lucky her*

*Interview / Education background – passed, she’s ok with the conversation and the Education background.

*Skin (no tattoo or scars) – passed, her skin is just ok *hahaaa…**Grooming (postures, gestures and the way you walk) – passed, even criticized on her natural make up and hair (macam orang pigi pasar) *wahahaaa…*
Conclusion: She’s selected to a 2nd interview the next day (it was Sunday ok!!!) and were asked to dress up on executive office wear with nice hairdo (nice sanggul) and nice make up. The question is… who will do the nice sanggul? will the saloon open as early as 7am? as she have to be at the venue by 8.30am… I’d called my two saloon friends unfortunately they can’t open their saloon that early. So, I said to my sister, hey! I was popular with sanggul experts when comes to kampung harvest festival during my very young age, guess I was between 15 – 18. But my sis just not confident with my sanggul expertise, hahahaaa…. Anyway, take it of leave it… no choice mah kan.... buli lah bah sanggul kampung2, wakakaaa… ZZzzz…

Day 2

6.30am started with the sanggul progress… taaaadaaaaa!!! (alamak lupa ambil gambar pula, you know lah lama tidak ber-blog bah). Ok, done! for about 45 minutes after 3 times changed of style… and wow! to my surprise I still can do sanggul bah, or it was a fluked *wink* it’s really look like the MAS Cabin Crew sanggul… yes! (nah, bell don’t underestimate your sis ability kama oh…hahaaa). Then continue with the make up. Ok, done with all that, then sent the “Princess” to Magellan Sutera Hotel…:D

Teng Teng Tenggggggg… My sis told us that it was very hard tasks, she’s almost left that session though. The interview was about, interaction among the candidates, lots of Q & A in a group (it would be very embarrassing if you can’t answers those questions as they’ll be some criticism… how’s that?). According to my sis, every step of the interview they’ll be elimination, phew! just like an Americas next top model…*duhh* So, whoever eliminated their face will turn sour and became so so so ugly…oh no!... pitty huh! Anyway, my sis managed to the final of the interview (not sure if she’ll get it or she have to forget to become a cabin crew, coz my Mom wouldn’t agree anyway, shhh…*grin*). The MAS will only notify those successful candidates through phone or email but so far no news yet #$&^%#@???.....

Everyone talking about children to school since Monday and I know it’s a hot topic to all Mom’s blogger…*wink* And here’s my turn to share a little bit about my kids too (tida mau ketinggalan ni…hehe *wink*) since they started their 1st day to school yesterday. Well, since Lyssa started at St Francis Konven Kindergarten with playschool then 1st year Kindy and this year is her 2nd year Kindy (final year lah konon…), she’s just steady and cool, but very unlikely to her little brother JBoy, he was so enthusiastic that morning but turned to a pathetic face when he realized that he’s not in the same class with Lyssa (even brief him about it earlier). He started to cry and doesn’t want to be in his Ant class…it’s so unexpected though! Looking through our 1st experienced with Lyssa during her playschool 2 years ago, it’s better just to leave them with the Teacher otherwise “rains will never stop…hehe” Too bad, to take leave yesterday doesn’t permit me, therefore I managed to get my sis Abell to look after them at the school. Hmmm… feel uncomfortable though, the moment I reached my office I called Abell and guess what she told me??? “Kak, susah betul si JBoy ohhh, dia brabis nangis! and begging me to bring him out from the class. Cikgu pun can’t really get to pulled him sebab dia talampau ‘galangas’, the teacher advised me to get off from the class and wait outside the School” So, 10am bell rang (time to go home), Abell went in again and get them from the class, but while Abell’s approaching JBoy’s class, JBoy looks very wormy, he just can’t wait to get out from their line, he was escaped and ran towards his Aunty with his big smile then to Lyssa class. And here’s their happy face after class… I hope their smile will stay like this everyday sending them to school… easy life huh!

It’s been a long time I didn’t get any assignments from PPP, Smorty, Sponsored Reviews, Social Sparks, Buy Blog Reviews and etc. It’s due to my page rank doesn’t allowed I guess…too bad *sigh*. Anyway, I’m looking forward to have my own domain soon (hopefully dream come true in my year of OX… oppssss!!! lets my finger cross *grin*), so that it will helps me to get more online assignments this year for extra $$$. Could It Be Our Last Visit To 1B?

Does anyone heard about what’d happened to 1Borneo recently? I’m not sure whether it’s true or not but some friends telling us that the building is unsafe… oppsss!! How come? What’s gone wrong? Why it happened? However, I wouldn’t believe until I get to see by myself. 1B is my kids favourite place to have fun, nothing else but the ‘Boo Boo Land’… sounds familiar huh…

Anyway, my friend was at 1B just before Christmas, what happened was, while walking around the mall suddenly they sees some tiles cracking until it got lifted up by itself, it’s really happened in front of their eyes… sounds scary huh! They were shocked and thinking that the building might collapse anytime, therefore, they went off immediately that day (spoilt their shopping mood) and promise not to go to 1B for the time being... Hmmm…could it be our last visit to 1B on last Nov? Need to find out more about it… as looking through the buildings collapse in Peninsular Malaysia which was in the hot news recently, therefore, we have to be very sensitive to the environment to prevent any unexpected…

One Sunday after get tired the whole day playing around the house, running here and there… see what’d happened to this restless boy… he was laid down on the mattress with his relaxing mood while watching his favourite cartoon, Mr. Bean. His siblings and the cousins tried to interrupt him with his position by calling his name and talking to him but never get distracts and never bother to listen… he’s just so comfortable with his position… aren’t he look so relax…?*wink* (my Mom said “macam orang tua yang jauh fikiran”…haha)

Just a short brief about the @mosphere Revolving Restaurant and Bar on the parties:-

Christmas Eve’s Dinner - was very good response from our local and foreign customers, quite a numbers of tickets purchased in advanced, walked-in customers wasn’t too bad. The Restaurant is almost full. Our special thanks to all attendees and appreciate all the comments.

New Year’s Eve Dinner / Countdown Party - Tickets purchased in advance for attending the dinner not so encouraging due to mostly family members prefer to stay with their family at home and having BBQ, party and so on. But surprisingly we’ve a very good response to walked-in customers to the countdown party! Oh well, I was on duty that night at the @mos counter (welcoming the guess *duhh!!!*… and it’s my first time wasn’t being with my family on New Years Eve!!! *sigh*…pity my kids especially, but they do understand that Mummy had to work. My sis, cousin and their friends are at the party as well, wow!!! everybody are really enjoyed the performance by JIAJA and so do us, it seems that I’m back to my young age though (clubbing time huh… haha). Guess what? we only got home at 4.30am… and continue BBQ and karaoke at my uncles place… such a fun New Year eh!!!

I’m Very Thankful…

JBoy has a special baptism by Fr. Fundes on 25th March 2005 (Friday), it falls on Good Friday. Fr. Fundes supposed to be very busy for the Good Friday preparation. Anyway, I still remember when we went to Stella Marris Church on 24th March 2005 (Thursday), Fr. Fundes is about to leave as we can see him from the entrance gate as we entered the church compound. We immediately get down from the car and straight away approached him, my MIL talk to him of what we need him to help us (My MIL told him that his grandson need to undergo an operation and need to be baptise before). Fr. Fundes was paused awhile and says… ok, tomorrow lah at 10am, without realizing my tears drop for happiness and I was so touched that he accepted the special baptism for JBoy the next day, it’s on Good Friday! I’m very thankful to Fr. Fundes and never forget the special moment even we arrived a little bit late for the baptism (about 5 minutes) due to our car problem, but yes, everything goes well. Once again our gratitude appreciation especially to Fr. Fundes, JBoy’s Godfather Mr Mrcel Abah & our Family Members for their presents and witness the baptism. God Bless!

1st & 2nd Operations…

One quiet day, I took a chanced browsing all the kid pictures taken between 2003 - 2008 just to find some ideas for my neglected blog… I will say *sigh*, and saw JBoy 1st operation picture which reminds me of our scary moment… he was only 9 weeks and still very small, doesn’t know anything, all he know is cries when thirsty… that’s all. Anyway, JBoy has pro-longed jaundiced history. In medical terms normal jaundice will fade away at least within 3 weeks of baby’s age and if more than that the baby might suspected to have liver problem and so on. However, according to my grandma (orang dulu-dulu katakan), it’s just normal but we the parents of course become so worry of anything unexpected. We’d tried all the 'kampung’ methods and anything even weird but it doesn’t work at all. JBoy’s skin and eyes still look yellowish, we became tremendously worries, we therefore, brought JBoy to one of the specialist Dr in Damai to get check, and to our surprise after the examination and scanning, the Dr mentioned that JBoy’s liver got swollen… (what do you think we think that time??? ohhhh... only GOD knows). To us JBoy is just look normal, nothing that abnormal. However, the Dr has monitored JBoy for 2 weeks, that’s included taking his blood (more than 5 times jab a day), check his urine, stool and all that. Just imagine how much we spent per visit… it’s more than RM300, the highest was RM500+ per visit. With that amount of course in return we expect at least some improvement with JBoy, we wouldn’t bother about $$$ even we don’t have much that time, but since we’ve engaged with the process as advised by the Dr that we have to go on with it. All we want is JBoy gets treated well and back to normal. I just can’t believe it!!!, after all we’d gone through, nothing has changed, no improvement at all, JBoy’s blood test results seems the same (just a little changes, like 1 or 2 points). Until the Dr had done her part and decided to handover the case to Liver Specialist. The Dr suggested us to choose either to SG or KL but she recommended us a very good specialist Dr, that is in SG but looking through our financial situation that time, we just can’t afford SG money. To make it short… we really got piss off as we’d given 100% trust to the Dr, but in the end no improvement!. We were thinking the Dr should have advise us at least the 3rd reviews, what and how exactly is was, but she lead us till to the last minute (I mean, in Medical terms for prolonged jaundice, the baby should be operated at the age of 8 weeks and that time JBoy was exactly that age, how do you think we could decide an operation on the very last minute? It’s not easy man!). What I’m trying to say is, at least the Dr gave us an option to be referred to Liver Specialist at least the 7th weeks of JBoy’s age and at least another Dr could monitor JBoy before undergo an operation, who knows other Dr might have another plan that could skip an operation. However, we decided just to refer us to QEH. Hence, the Dr in Damai wrote a letter to QEH Surgeon (Pediatrics Surgical Specialist).

Nothing much we could do but we leave it all to GOD… then the next day we brought JBoy to QEH Pediatrics Surgeon and guess what? Our first impression was a little released though… the doctors and nurses are all calm, friendly and they never show’s that JBoy has a complicated case (compared to the Dr in Damai, impression’s was far different *sigh*), the QEH team said to me “Mama don’t worry, everything going to be alright” As to my big question, I’d asked the Surgeon to check JBoy’s liver is it really swollen? as per the Dr in Damai… guess what? The QEH Surgeon said “it’s normal and it’s a good sign that your baby stools (dark yellow) doesn’t seems to be a big problem, but we still need proceed with the operation” and ohhhh…. I’m became weak again when mentioning about an operation…aaarrrggghhh!!! Then JBoy was given an appointment for admission 3 days after and that is on 28th March 2005 (Monday) and operation on 30th March 2005 (Wednesday).

We was thinking that JBoy need to be baptise before the operation, but would the church accept the baptism? All churches are busy with GOOD FRIDAY preparation that time and day after are Saturday and Sunday???.... However, we just tried our luck to Stella Maris… and stay tune, will write about it in my next post… check it out!

Thanks GOD! that JBoy’s operation went all well. Thought that’s the only operation but again JBoy had undergone the 2nd operation on last November 2008 for another minor problem as posted earlier in one of my November 2008 posts and it went all well too! GOD IS GREAT!!!

Congratulations to cousin Imelda & Hubby for their 1^st new born baby boy (BB Rowell). Born on 10^th December 2008 (Wednesday), Weigh 3.1kg, Normal birth at Hospital Likas. Say hello to BB Rowell & the Mummy... *wink*

Picture taken when BB Rowell was only 4 days… he was admitted at Likas Hospital for 4 days due G6PD positive and high bilirubin. Well, it’s normal anyway but still need to monitor to avoid anything worst (looking through my bad experienced with JBoy prolonged jaundice *sigh*). However, BB & Mummy are now finally got back home! We’ve visited them last night and both BB & Mummy are pretty good *wink*

4^th – Late Brother was pronounced dead (Dec 2007) / 1^st Anniversary. Aunty LC’s 13^th wedding anniversary

5^th – Ann Pinky birthday / Sales team nite out

6^th to 18^th - Usual daily routine

19^th – XMAS CHILDREN PARTY at Likas Hospital (JBoy & Lyssa are invited)

20^th – A month with Asia Extreme Group of Companies / Xmas shopping

21^st to 23^rd - Usual daily routine

24^th – XMAS EVE (to attend an earlier Mass)

25^th – XMAS DAY / A small gathering at Moing’s house (Night time)
