My Humble Boy...Zachary

On Saturday, we fetch the kids early from the Nursery, and the first thing I noticed is Haryboy's toe was wrapped with plaster and I can see the blood stained on it. I feel something wrong, however, one of the babysitter told me that Haryboy's toe got cut (ohhh...no! I'm wondering the cut might bad for tiny toe...). Anyway, I asked them how bad it is? they said not so bad, but Haryboy says to me "Mummy u-oi" (Mummy painful) while pointing his toe...pity him. The babysitter told me that Haryboy actually went and pull the Jam from the table, she tried to avoid but it happened very fast and it's drop on the floor and it's break and there's where Haryboy's toe got cut. When I reached home, I look at it luckily is just a little cut but Haryboy keep saying "Mummy u-oi"... However, I don't blame the babysitters as at Haryboy's age is the time that they mostly doesn't want to be control...just like “cacing kepanasan”, they like to be on their own...and that's Haryboy!

My Energetic Boy, but...

Jeremiah is always a complicated boy. He is only 3 years and 4 months. Look at the picture, you might wondering why he is hiding underneath the table. This is very funny, started since last year... A brief story about it... A family of Pakistan is renting our old house and every end of the month he will be coming to my parent's house to pay the house rental. The first time he came, my niece and nephew scares Jboy saying "bah jaga ko Jboy, tu kajol datang sudah ambil budak jahat" Jboy was so scared, then he ran and hide underneath the table. We thought that it's only happened that day, but till today he still get scares to all the incoming motorcycle to my parent's neighbour, since the Pakistan is driving a motorcycle and Jboy thought that all the motorcyclist is "Kajol" (the Pakistan) but yes, most of the motorcyclist are Pakistan selling clothes to the neighbour. So, every time Jboy hears a motorcycle sounds he will definitely run and hide underneath the table...ohhh Jboy how could you be so coward!

My Lovely Daughter...

Alyssa like to be independent all the time. She's only 5 years old in August but act like an adult. At home, we call her either Lyssa or Song. I just couldn't wait for her to grown up big enough to help me with all the house works, such as to do washing in the kitchen, drying up and folding the clothes, sweeping or vacuuming the floor like what she did at the moment but of cause I cannot expect the cleanliness of her washing, sweeping or vacuuming but at least she is showing her interest in doing so. Even she folding the clothes, I still need to re-do but she always scold me saying "Mummy jangan kacau bah, saya sudah lipat tu"...heheee...what a girl...:)

Being a sister to her brothers Jeremiah (or Jboy, Gendut or AhPiew) and Zachary (or Haryboy, Adik or Pino), she always show her responsibility, giving advise to Jboy not to be naughty, not to say bad words and tell him to listen to what Mummy and Daddy's advises. As for Haryboy, Alyssa sometimes help to look after him, sing for him, do story telling and she also know how to change his diapers when needed.

Alyssa is in her first kindergarten, so far her education knowledge in this level is just good, she is responsible in doing her homework even though she feel sleepy sometimes.

I'm so proud of my girl... I still remember that almost four years in marriage then only I got pregnant to Alyssa...

However, Alyssa can be very naughty and sometimes I just cannot stand their attitude and end up hitting them...poor kids...*&^#@!?

My friend Suzzane treated me for lunch at Krishna Fish Head Curry today. While enjoying our foods suddenly we heard somebody shouting saying “blah lah engkau, aku sakit hati tengok engkau”, we was annoyed with that shout. However, we just continue eating but a little bit rush cause we might afraid that the situation become worst as I can see the customer next to our table so aggressive who is actually shouted the waitress...no idea what exactly happened between them. I Hope they are settle after we step out from the Restaurant...

What do you think of this...*grin*

While happy sharing with my colleagues about my blog this morning as I told them that I have few visitors already (as looking through my guest book counters and the live traffic feed on my blog), then suddenly another colleague, Suzzane said “Orang Malaysia malas membaca tapi rajin tulis BLOG” I feel ashame “macam tersindir pula” cause I'm the only one curi-curi buat blog di office...hahaa... Suzzane is actually reading the “Gila-gila” magazine and since I'm talking about blog, she purposely read it loud, sort of menyindir juga lah...:O

Here's the article I meant...
A little bit blur but the first line says “Orang Malaysia malas membaca tapi rajin tulis BLOG” :)

Meet my sister...Rushell Rozabell, the busiest ever!!!

It happened three weeks ago...

I was annoyed by my sister as she kept mentioning about "mooting" which I don't really know what it's all about. She is so stress and so tension the whole days, every minutes and every seconds and that makes me so stress and tension too listening to her mumbling and mumbling and mumbling... She's actually busy preparing her paper works, do her reading and need to really understand the case that they need to present in the moot in a couple of days more. She even asked me a question and ideas about it but nothing much I can contribute as I don't really familiar with all that... pity her...

Anyway, she's being selected to represent KK High School for an inter-school mooting competition. She's appointed to be an acting solicitor together with her two schoolmate Miguelmutien as a Counsel and Oth'na Matri as a Junior Counsel. As day goes by... as they have to do their task, they somehow sacrificed a lot of time during their normal class. At home as I can see her, she do a lot of talking in front of the mirror, talking to the walls...just like "orang gila" (crazy), Well, I think it has to be that way which will make her more understand and practice herself to be more prepared for the competition.

Finally!!! 2nd May 2008, the competition started, held in Dewan SESB. KK High School as an appellant and they compete with Seri Insan as a defendant. My sister and the team are satisfied with all the hard works and effort as they able to answer all the questions thrown to them. Few more schools competing as well such as, SM La Salle, SM Lok Yuk, SM Thsung Thsin and etc...

Unfortunately, KK High School loose in the competition and the winner goes to SM La Salle (congratulations!!!). Even though they loose but they're very happy in participating the “High School Mooting Competition, Malaysia 2008”. SM La Salle will be representing Sabah for the next mooting competition to be held in Australia, if I'm not mistaken will be next month (June 2008).

Mooting is over... next is the Interact Club as she is one of the director...ohhh no!!! another stress...the more I see her stress the more stress I have (but of cause lah I don't show my stress because of her.. pity her also bah and I understand how student are with lots of activities in the school...well, biasalah being a student before kan :O). I said to my sister, “who ask you to join this and that in the school? Now you deserve it”, and she said to me, “you think I want to join all this kah?, I need to concentrate more on my study bah, STPM exam is coming soon but the teacher selected me, what can I say”@!?&*!?!*#

She have few more activities...

Pity her...I hope she can cope with all these...God Bless You Bell...

Words Of Encouragement...

"A life watered by the tears of tragedy and suffering
Often becomes the most fertile soil for spiritual growth."

"There is no oil without squeezing the olives,
No wine without pressing the grapes,
No fragrance without crushing the flowers,
And no real joy without sorrow."

Chatuchak Market Bangkok...

Refer to my previous post regarding Bangkok, I came to understand from my friends that Chatuhak Market is a place that you must go for shopping while in Bangkok. Wow!!! what an idea huh...

Here goes the information from my Internet search...

Though there are many markets throughout Bangkok, Chatuchak Weekend Market is still pretty much the undisputed king of them all. The scale of it is pretty unbelievable - it covers an area of 70 rai (35 acres), contains more than 15 000 shops and stalls, has over 200 000 visitors each day, and they spend an estimated total of 30 million baht (approx US$750 000). The range of products on sale is extensive, and includes household accessories, handicrafts, religious artifacts, art, antiques, live animals (which unfortunately are frequently caged in cruel conditions), books, music, clothes, food, plants and flowers etc...

Chatuchak is a particularly good place to buy all sorts of Thai handicrafts, as there's a huge range, the quality is high and the intense competition keeps the prices low. Be careful when buying antiques, the large majority on offer are fake and telling the difference between the genuine and the copies can be extremely difficult. Genuine antiques require a permit to be taken out of the country, but you will also need a permit if a fake is good enough to fool the inspecting customs officer.

Bargaining is expected, if not mandatory, at Chatuchak and the prices are generally substantially cheaper than the shopping centers and street stalls on Silom and Sukhumvit. Many shops in the more centrals areas of the city also have a branch here, selling the same goods for much lower prices.

The published opening hours for the market are from 9.00am to 6.00pm on Saturday and Sunday, though many of the stalls actually open sometime between 9.00am and 10.00am and close around sunset. Chatchak is also open on Friday as a market for wholesalers, but there is no problem doing normal shopping on this day either (same opening times). The Garden Plants section is also open on Wednesdays and Thursday from 7.00am to 6.00pm. Watch out for pickpockets, as even though they're not a particularly big problem the crowded conditions make it easy for them to operate successfully.

Chatuchak has in theory been segregated into areas depending on the types of goods sold, and there are maps available for the market which detail the various sections. You're as well to just forget them and just wander wherever takes your fancy, as it is an extremely disorientating place of many narrow alleys and trying to follow a map around can prove very frustrating.

Chatuchak always gets very hot and humid during the day, and it's far from the most comfortable shopping experience but for most people the benefits outweigh the disadvantages. Going early in the day when it is a bit cooler is recommended.

Very interesting!!! can't wait till the day come...

Varieties of Orchids...

The beauty, complexity and incredible diversity of orchid flowers are unrivalled in the plant world. These exotic beauties comprise the largest family of flowering plants on earth, with over 30,000 different species, and at least 200,000 hybrids. Orchids can be found in the equatorial tropics, the arctic tundra, and everywhere in between. The reason for this diversity lies in the orchid’s amazing ability to adapt to its given environment. With so many different orchid varieties that thrive in so many different growing conditions, it is relatively easy to find an orchid that is well suited to the conditions that you can provide — whether it is a kitchen window or a full-size greenhouse.

My niece Avril and nephew Brady...

An early telephone call...

The late Roger Anthony
Born on 19th June 1972 ~ Died on 4th December 2007

I was awake by an early telephone rang around 4.00 am… Knock!!! Knock!!!...someone knocking on our room door and I heard my MIL says “Rozie tolifon nu” (Rozie call for you)…I’m sure everybody will immediately think an emergency case with an early telephone call right... and so do I. It’s seems that I got an electrical short on my body and immediately rise and went and answered the call… here goes the conversation…

Me : Hello…
Fiffy : Kak! abang Roger meninggal dunia…
(Sister! brother Roger had passed away...)
Me : Hah!!! kau gila kah!
(Huh!! are you crazy!)
Fiffy : Iya Kak… (Sister, this is true...)
Me : Kau di mana? (Where are you?)
Fiffy : Di hospital. (At the hospital)
Me : (Still blurr) apa kau buat sana?
(What are you doing there?)
Fiffy : Kak!!! abang Roger meninggal suda, dia accident motor.
(Sister!!! brother Roger had passed away, he met a motorcycle accident)
Me : Silence + confuse + thinking…how come? I just met him yesterday morning…?
Fiffy : Kak!!! kami di hospital! (Sister!!! we are at the hospital!)
my cousin trying to awake me...
Me : Siapa kawan kau di sana? (Whow are you with?)
Fiffy : Nina (my mother) sama Mummy (Your mother and my mummy)
Me : Kasih cakap saya sama Nina gia! (Let me talk to my mother!)
Fiffy : Nina sama Mummy di dalam bilik Doktor.
(Your mother and my mummy are inside the Doctor's room)
Me : (I still can’t believe it) Fi, apa macam muka abang Roger?
(Fi, how does brother Roger's look?)
Fiffy : Tidak tau, saya pun belum nampak lagi…
(No idea, I haven't seen yet...)
Me : Bah, nanti saya datang sana…
(Ok, I'll be coming later...)

Soon as I put down the phone, my hubby and MIL asked me;-
Hubby + MIL : Siapa tu Zie? + Isai ie Zie? (Who is that Zie?)
Me : Si Fiffy, dia kasi tau Roger sudah meninggal.
(It's Fiffy, she informed that Roger had passed away)
Hubby + MIL : Hahhh!!! + Odoi dogo!!!
(Huhhh!!! + Oh no!!! *They were shocked)
Hubby : Macam mana juga dia passed away sedangkan baru kemarin kita jumpa dia.
(How come he'd passed away as we'd just met him yesterday)
Me : Itu lah, saya pun hairan, tapi Fiffy cakap dia accident motor…
(That is why, I'm wondering too but Fiffy said he met a motorcycle accident...)
MIL : Odoiiii!!!…osisian gia…siou noh…
(ohhh pitty...so sorry...)

I just couldn’t make up my mind to go to the hospital immediately or later. But hubby said we go after sending the kids to nursery. At 6.30am, we get ready everything and send our kids to nursery and went straight to my parents house. Too many things in my head, I still can’t believe it. When I reached my parents house, everybody in tears, especially my niece BB (Avril), whereas my nephew Boboy (Brady) seems cool but I can see sadness in his face as he is the most closest to the daddy. Seeing them in tears, I myself couldn’t stand my tears dropping…and says…

Me : BB, Boboy kenapa kamu nangis? (BB, Boboy why are you crying?)
*just to see if they know what exactly happening...
Niece : Daddy tiada suda (Daddy no longer with us)
*BB almost can’t say the words.
Nephew: (Just quiet but look sad. No tears at all)
Me : Ada apa-apa kah Daddy kamu cakap semasa dia bawa kamu jalan kemarin?
(Did your daddy says anything while take you both out yesterday?)
Niece : (While crying) Daddy bawa kami pigi KFC di Lido, lepas tu dia bawa kami singgah di tempat dia kerja. Daddy janji mau beli kami baju Christmas, kasut baru, beg baru…
(Daddy take us to KFC in Lido, thereafter drop by to his work place. Daddy promise to buy us new clothes for Christmas, new shoes, new bags...)
Nephew: Daddy janji mau beli saya basikal. Daddy bawa lagi kami pigi di sekolah bayar school fees.
(Daddy promise to buy me a bicycle. Daddy also brought us to our school to pay our school fees.)

While waiting for my mother and auntie Ilsie came back from QEH… my father told us how he got the bad news at very early morning…his mobile rang at around 3.00am…

Father : Hello…
QEH : Ini Encik Anthony Tuyok, bapa kepada Roger Anthony kah?
(Is this Mr Anthony Tuyok, Roger Anthony's father?)
Father : Ya, saya…(Yes, I am)
QEH : Saya buat panggilan dari QEH, diminta Encik datang ke hospital Bahagian Kecemasan dengan segera kerana anak Encik kemalangan motor dan keadaannya agak kritikal…
(I'm calling from QEH, you are required to come to the hospital to Emergency Section as soon as possible as your son met a motorcycle accident and he is in critical condition...)
Father : Shocked…?*&?^%?#@?...

Finally, around 10.30 am my mother and Aunt Ilsie came back from QEH, I can see sadness in them especially my mother and that’s enough to tell me that I have to face the fact (at this time it's really hard for me to breath, my whole body feel very weak, shivering and...ohhh its really unexplained how I felt that time... what I can tell to myself is to be strong!!!). According to my mother the Doctors and nurses had done their very best to safe my brother but too bad it doesn’t works due to badly internal bleeding. My brother had a very bad chest and head injuries which caused him pollytrauma dead. He was pronounced dead on 4th December 2007 (Tuesday) at 3.45am.

Due to postmortem need to be carried out, the body only arrived at my grandma’s house at 1.30pm. And ohhhh…..this time is for real…everybody crying loud and we clearly hear these words from his left behind daughter and son.

“Daddy jangan kasih tinggal kami”
(Daddy don't leave us)
“Daddy sorry lah, kami nakal, tidak dengar cakap”
(Daddy sorry for being naughty and not listening to your advises)
“Daddy bangun bah”
(Daddy wake up please)

Ohhhh….so heart breaking...

May his soul rest in peace...

Nice evening with traditional foods...

Introducing the traditional foods from my Mom's kicthen... *wink*

Every evening my Mom's veranda must full of visitors...it's like a meeting point among relatives. All my uncles, aunties and cousins hang around there chit chatting while enjoying the tenom coffee. So, yesterday my friend Suzzane came out with an idea to have a traditional foods which is "Nantung and Hinava". "Nantung" or sago gel you can just easily take it with "sup bosungan" or fish soup, put some lime and chilli and wow! very tasty (the picture doesn't look nice but the taste is there ;)). Ermm...although I didn't try the "Nantung" but I believe it's nice...look at their face expression in the picture ;) Ohhhh...the "Hinava" or raw fish is very nice too....yummy!!!

Quotes...

"I will run, where failures fear to walk. I will try harder, when failures seek to give in. I will act right now, for now is all I have. Tomorrow is the day reserved for the depressed. I am not depressed. Tomorrow is the day when the failure will succeed. I am not a failure. I will act now. Success will not wait. If I delay, success will be lost forever. This is the time. This is the place. I am the one." -by M.A. ~ North Carolina-

Finally back to the office today after 5 days in Tawau...

24th April 2008 (Thursday)
A short flight to Tawau by Air Asia.
Checked in to Heritage Hotel, offers a wide range of stylish designed rooms which are fully equipped with modern facilities and amenities. Also enjoy easy access to Tawau’s business hub, Fajar Commercial Center, where you will find supermarkets, bakeries, entertainment spots, and food outlets within walking distance.

25th April 2008 (Friday)
1st day of exhibition, less crowd and not encouraging at all. So, we just entertained ourselves and visited other exhibitors booth. The best part it is our main rival just right in front of us...:) However, I managed to do presentation about UK Land Investments to three different peoples and only one of them is potential and still need to follow up...

26th April 2008 (Saturday)
2nd day of exhibition, better crowd, I'd approached a few peoples and only managed to get five peoples for the individual presentation and only two are potential and again need to follow up...

27th April 2008 (Sunday)
3rd and the last day of exhibition, much better crowd and more potential to follow up but too bad the crowd went off as early at 6.00pm, the exhibition should be until 9.00pm. Therefore, we went off early at 7.00pm and thereafter had our karaoke session at Zenzi's Karaoke (the happening place in Tawau) to celebrate the joyous of egg breaking...at least we go back to KK without ZERO...:) yayyy!!!

28th April 2008 (Monday)
Our flight back to KK at 5.15pm but delayed an hour later at 6.15pm.
Goodbye Tawau!!!

HFMD (Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease)...

Last night I'd received a call from my friend Suzzane and asked how are my kids...(I'm wondering) well looking at my kids they are as usual (nothing unusual). Suzzane told me that her daughter infected with “Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease”. I'm so surprise and since our kids going to the same nursery thought that my kids might infected too. Immediately after our conversation, I checked on my kids, but no sign that they are infected as no red spots on their palm, foot and no blister in their mouth...

However, I still doubt it, as soon as they woke up in the morning I checked on them again and guess what??? I think they are infected as there are red spots on their palm, foot and blister in their mouth. Oh no!!! Me and hubby become sooooo worry...as far as we are concerned HFMD (Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease) is very bad cases in Sarawak. Without wasting our time, we brought them (all my three kids) to Hilltop Clinic, Grand Millennium, Doctor Amarjeet, and yes, my kids are confirmed infected with HFMD (Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease). The doctor advised us not to worry so much as Sabah cases is not as bad as Sarawak cases. We were also advised not to send our kids to the nursery for few days, therefore, me and hubby took an emergency leave on this day and look after them the whole day. The good thing is they still active as they are, no fever and their appetite to eat are still good. Oh well, seems nothing make me worry for outstation to Tawau the next day. The very best thing is I managed to persuade my mother to take leave while I'm away to Tawau. BIG THANKS TO MY NINA (MOTHER)...muahhhh!!!

*You may search for more information about HFMD (Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease) on Internet.*
