Funny Thoughts To Ponder...

Why doesn't McDonald's sell hotdogs?
At a movie theater which arm rest is yours?
What is Satan's last name?
Why do doctors leave the room when you change? They're going to see you naked anyway.
Can you still say "Put it where the sun don't shine " on a nude beach?
What do people in China call their good plates?
How come toy hippos are always blue, or purple, when real hippos are brown?
Why don't woodpeckers get headaches when they slam their head on a tree all day?
If someone owns a piece of land, do they own it all the way to the center of the earth?
Does the postman deliver his own mail?
Why does toilet bowl cleaner only come in the color blue?
What happens when you put hand sanitizer on a place other then your hand?
Why are women and men's shoe sizes different?
Is it appropriate to say "good mourning" at a funeral?
If there's an exception to every rule, is there an exception to that rule?
Why is there a light in the fridge and not in the freezer?
What is another word for "thesaurus"?

Skinny Jeans???

I don't think so... but just to have fun with the quiz! *wink*

You are classy and a bit formal when it comes to your personal style.
Your look is feminine and well put together
- and never trashy or too trendy.

What Style Of Women Jeans Are You?

I Should Make 4 Resolutions...

*Lose Weight
*Save Money
*Reduce Stress Overall
*Take a Trip

Waaahhh!!! sindiran maut butul ohhh my new year resolutions ni...hehe *wink*. Bah check what's yours...

What Should You Resolve To Change Next Year?

MARY'S BOY CHILD...

...Jesus Christ was born on Christmas Day, and man will live forever more
because of Christmas Day...

Long time ago in Bethlehem so the Holy Bible said, Mary's Boy Child, Jesus Christ,
was born on Christmas Day...
Hark now hear the angels sing, a King was born today, and man will live forever more
because of Christmas Day...

Mary's Boy Child, Jesus Christ was born on Christmas Day...

While shepherds watched their flocks by night they see a bright new shining star

they hear a choir sing a song, the music seemed to come from afar.
Hark now hear the angels sing, a King was born today, and man will live forever more
because of Christmas Day...hm hm...

For a moment the world was aglow, all the bells rang out there were tears of joy
and laughter
people shouted let everyone know, there is hope for all to find peace.
Now Joseph and his wife Mary came to Bethlehem that night,
they found no place to bear her child, not a single room was in sight, and then they found a little nook, in a stable all forlorn,
and in a manger cold and dark, Mary's little boy was born

Hark now hear the angels sing, a King was born today, and man will live forever more

because of Christmas Day...

Mary's Boy Child Jesus Christ was born on Christmas Day...

For a moment the world was aglow, all the bells rang out there were tears of joy
and laughter,
people shouted let everyone know, there is hope for all to find peace.

Oh my Lord, you send your son to save us

Oh my Lord, your very self you gave us

Oh my Lord, that sin may not enslave us and love may reign once more.
Oh my Lord, when in the crib they found him
Oh my lord, a golden halo crowned him
Oh my Lord, they gathered all around him, to see him and adore.

Oh my Lord, with the child's adoration
Oh my Lord, there came great jubilation
Oh my Lord, and full of admiration they realized what they had (until the sun falls from the sky)
Oh my Lord (well praise the Lord), they had just begun to doubt you
Oh my Lord (he is the truth forever), what did they know about you.

Oh my Lord (so praise the Lord) but they were lost without you, they needed you so bad
(his light is shining on us)

Oh my Lord (oh my Lord so praise the Lord), with the child's adoration Lord
(oh my Lord he is an inspiration). There came great jubilation
oh my Lord (so praise the Lord),
and full of admiration,
they realized what they had (until the sun falls from the sky)

Wishing you all A Blessed Christmas 2008
&
A Prosperous Bright New Year 2009!

Business & Marketing Logics.....Just For Laugh

A friend forwarded it to my email... good one!

Father: I want you to marry a girl of my choice
Son: 'I will choose my own bride!'
Father: 'But the girl is Bill Gates's daughter.'
Son: 'Well, in that case...ok'

Next, Father approaches Bill Gates.

Father: 'I have a husband for your daughter.'
Bill Gates: 'But my daughter is too young to marry!'
Father: 'But this young man is a vice-president of the World Bank.'
Bill Gates: 'Ah, in that case...ok'

Finally, Father goes to see the President of the World Bank.

Father: 'I have a young man to be recommended as a vice-president.'
President: 'But I already have more vice- presidents than I need!'
Father: 'But this young man is Bill Gates's son-in-law.'
President: 'Ah, in that case...ok'

This is how business is done!!

Moral: Even If you have nothing, You can get Anything. But your attitude should be positive!

What is Marketing???

You see a gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and say, 'I am very rich. Marry me!'
That's Direct Marketing

You're at a party with a bunch of friends and see a gorgeous girl. One of your friends goes up to her and pointing at you says, 'He's very rich. Marry him.'
That's Advertising.

You see a gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and get her telephone number. The next day you call and say, 'Hi, I'm very rich. Marry me.'
That's Telemarketing.

You're at a party and see a gorgeous girl. You get up and straighten your tie; you walk up to her and pour her a drink. You open the door for her, pick up her bag after she drops it, offer her a ride, and then say, 'By the way, I'm very rich 'Will you marry me?'
That's Public Relations.

You're at a party and see a gorgeous girl. She walks up to you and says, 'You are very rich, I want to marry you.'
That's Brand Recognition.

You see a gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and say, 'I'm rich. Marry me.' She gives you a nice hard slap on your face.
That's Customer Feedback

I'm sure you had a good laugh eh...*wink*

It's True, I'm A Discount Shopper...*Wink*

You love to get things as cheaply as possible.

WOW!

My 2nd week with the new Company and I was "WOW" so far. Right, it's time for me to introduce my new work place, hmmm... He Gone Missing…

JBoy suppose to go for a review at Likas Hospital on 26/11 after more than a month had his operation, but I postpond it to an earlier date on 19/11. We went together with my niece for JBoy companion as earlier as 9.00am no matter the appointment time given at 11.15am, there I got no. 6 *wink*. While waiting to be called, my niece and JBoy plays at the two small playing areas which is just outside the doctors room. Then, my niece came to me and told me she need to go to the washroom and left JBoy with me. As I’m busy talking with other Mommies as we exchanged some ideas about child problem, some past operation and so on... to my surprised JBoy suddenly gone mussing, where is he?!!! I immediately look for him at both playing areas but he wasn’t there…Oh my GOD! He’s really gone missing….. I’d tried to look all around the hospital lobby, every corner… but still not found him, I went to the washroom hoping that he’s with my niece, but the main door was locked, I knocked the door a few times even shouted for my niece name but no respond, I became worried and worried and almost cried…. peoples are looking at me like one kind which made me more panic. I made another round to look for JBoy while saying a little prayer but still haven’t seen him… oh no!!! what am I gonna do??? And as I walked back towards the waiting area I could clearly see them sitting there… thanks GOD! they are back! However, I scolded JBoy for that and without realising my high voice…oopsss! He really made me worried and panic bah, sampai bagagar jantung sa, pengsan saja tidak. Anyway, my niece told me that JBoy actually ran to her after seeing her came out from the washroom and told my niece he wants to pee, then again she brought him in. I even scolded my niece why she need to locked the main door, she said not her as many peoples inside there too… I warned them not repeat it again…bikin naik darah bah. My fault too… busy talking with other Mommies…*sigh*

My Travel Personality Is... Easygoing

When you travel, you're looking for a lot of downtime.
Vacations are your chance to recoup.
All you need is a scenic spot and plenty of time on your hands.
You'll figure out the rest.
You're not one to make lots of plans when you travel.
You just follow whatever path seems right.

Goodbye…

Tomorrow is my last day working with Sabah Hotel, Sandakan (KK Sales Office). It’s been a pleasure for me to be part of the team even in just a short period but I had learnt a lot that I should bring with me to my new career soon. I appreciate having had the opportunity to work with such a fine organization. I wish the management a continued success…

New Handphone...

...too bad not for me but for my niece Avrill. It’s Mom promise to my niece and nephew that if they get top 10 with their final semester examination, they will get a present as they wish. So, Avrill managed to get no. 7, there she go... a new handphone (Nokia 2630) for her yesterday. As for Brady, he only managed to get no. 21, therefore no bicycle for him. But I was told by Mom, eventhough Brady didn't get as promise, she still getting him a bicycle as looking to his studies improvement... Yayy! Boy don't worry, dapat basikal juga oh, tapi mesti belajar rajin2 lagi tahun depan ahhh... *wink* Good luck!

UPSR Result…

This year, my cousins had been sitting for their very important examination and my sister has just started their first paper yesterday. Here they go… UPSR (Fiffy), PMR (Hazel and Manuel) and STPM (Abell). Only Hazel has attended some tuition but not the rest three. Yesterday was a very happy moment for Fiffy that she scored 3A’s and 2B’s, she never targeted to get A though, but well, she got it!. We, the family members feel proud for Fiffy, with her efforts and hard work, even always get shouts by her Mom’s to study hard, but yes Fi! you proved you can do it! congrats and keep it up! Now she will get her new laptop together with a broadband connection as promised by her Dad as long as she scored 3A’s... (Nah, buli pinjam kaitu ahhh…hehe) So, now we’re waiting for Hazel and Manuel’s PMR result after Christmas and Abell's STPM result will be out only next year. Wish them all the best!!!

We Have Moved…

…to Kg. Nosoob since last month (5th Oct), just to fulfilled my kids requests, especially Lyssa and JBoy to stay with their grandparents as well as their cousins. It’s all began with our daily journey as every evening we never failed dropping by my parents house after fetch them from the nursery. Only when everything are done (such as:- dinner, watching their favorite cartoons, do my washing, clean themselves and etc.), then only we go back to Tanaki home and by the time we reaches home my kids tinggal mau tidur lagi... *grin* Infact, we gets annoyed and feels irritated that most of the time when we wanted to go back to Tanaki home, my kids will give us hard time as they will cries and cries for they doesn’t want to go home, they wanted to stay with my parents and this was happened quite awhile (like 2 years…*sigh*). Until one day my grandmother says to me, “I pity your kids, I can see that they really wants to stay here in Nosoob, why not you all just move here for the time being who knows it might a hint for something and at the same time it helps your burden carry things here and there” (well, knowing that we need to carry a few kids stuffs daily…*sigh*)... biasalah kan kalo orang tua-tua kasih nasihat itulah... inilah... dan bla... bla... bla…:-D. However, after hubby and I think about it, at last we decided to moved to Nosoob and my kids are really happy with it… you knowlah banyak kawan, tu yang dorang suka tu... and there we go, life must goes on… *wink*

Mummy, Can We Swim?

Yesterday, I was asked by Lyssa and JBoy if they can go for swimming… I told them not this time as the weather not so good, it will rains on and off, so next time lah. Ermm… thought of they are ok with my answered. Then they whispered each other and suddenly they want to take bath, well, since it’s almost noon time so I allowed them to and guess what they did? Here's their conversation...

Lyssa: Jahat oh mummy tidak bawa kita pergi waterworld kan JBoy…
JBoy: Yaaa… mummy cakap nanti kena hujan bah…
Lyssa: Biarlah kita mandi air hujan saja lah (refer to standing shower, they used to call it air hujan…haha)
JBoy: Yaaa… macam di waterworld juga kan Lyssa ada air hujan…
Lyssa: Mari kita masuk sini JBoy, macam swimming pool juga ni…
JBoy & Lyssa: (They suddenly shouted at me) “Mummy! kasi gambar kami, masuk di bolog’ (blog) kau” (hahaaa... my kids pun observe juga mummy dorang gila blogging...)

And I was actually at the kitchen preparing for lunch while they having fun in the bathroom and I just heard their conversation without seeing what they actually did. After alert by their shouts, I then went and have a look… oh no! just look at the picture… they're having fun in their so-called mini pool… haha. Don’t worry kids, one of this day we will be going to the bigger swimming pool ok…

Enjoying the breakfast…

One of a Sunday, Aunt LC, Haryboy and I went to Phoenix Star Cafe for breakfast, knowing that the cafe has extended and renovated nicely compare to the previous one and it's one of the popular cafe in Grand Millennium. Well, we ordered ourselves Tom Yam and fish porridge for Haryboy. They have nice Tom Yam though. Haryboy really enjoyed his porridge… look at his shot below, it tells how enjoyed he is and if it’s possible to zoom the picture you will see his heavy sweats hehe… Too bad, Lyssa and JBoy wasn’t with us, otherwise they will do like Haryboy too, knowing that my kids are food lover… hehe

Funny Thought for the Day - Inner Strength

*If you can start the day without caffeine
*If you can get going without pep pills
*If you can always be cheerful ignoring aches and pains
*If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles
*If you can eat the same food every day and be grateful for it
*If you can understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you any time
*If you can overlook it when those you love take it out on you when through no fault of yours something goes wrong
*If you can take criticism and blame without resentment
*If you can ignore a friend's limited education and never correct him
*If you can resist treating a rich friend better than a poor friend
*If you can face the world without lies and deceit
*If you can conquer tension without medical help
*If you can relax without liquor

*If you can sleep without the aid of drugs
*.....Then You Are Probably The Family Dog!

It Time To Move On......Again!

Ermm... maybe yea and maybe not ?!#^&*?!..... These few months, I could say it's not really a good fortune to me for I'd been shifting works here and there... and guess what, I got an offer yesterday and I could say this is a better one (I hope so... as I was offered better than what I'd asked for...oh well). Look, I'd prepared my 'love letter' something like this... "I have decided that it is time to move on and I have accepted a position elsewhere. This was not an easy decision and took a lot of consideration. However, I am confident that my new role will help me to move towards some of the goals I have for my career." But, I'm still can't really decide... ohhhh man! I need an advise (sudah gontua pun masih confuse ni...)

Mom Is Not Around Home…

…she’s in KL holidaying with Aunts and cousins. They only left yesterday with an evening flight and only be back on next Thursday. Well, Mom deserves to have a holiday since she never does before. Infact, she doesn’t really like to go for holiday especially by flight but Aunt Leviti managed to persuade her to go and bought her a ticket, all meals and accommodation are on my Aunt account… wow! isn’t that nice (kind of you Aunty Leviti). Anyway, Mom sounds so happy when calling home after touched down LCCT Airport. Sempat lagi my Mom reminds me what to do with my niece and nephew, such as to prepare their daily meals, their take away meal to school, to make sure they wash their school shoes, finish their homework and so on (aduiiii…don’t worry Mom, I know what to do… I know how my Mom feels leaving the house that long as she never does before...hehe). Oh man…! I’m now Momie to 6 children, my 3 kids, niece, nephew and my sister as well. Let me see how could I cope this task for a week…*grin* I hope my Mom will enjoy the trip so much and brought lots of goodies back home (that’s what my kids, niece and nephew hope for…hehe)

December or January – One Month…

I was asked by my SSM through SMS while I was on leave (looking after JBoy, monitoring his movement after his operation) last week. Asking me if it is possible for me to go to Sandakan for a month! Oh man! I was shocked (well, I’m in the middle worrying about JBoy that time) and asked her why I should have to be in Sandakan for a month? 2 or 3 days should be fine with me but not that long though…*sigh* She told me that for contingency plan, but still, one month takes very long days for me, thinking about leaving my kids especially. Oh no! it’s really hard for me to consider this time. I suppose to get back to my SSM on last Monday but I just cannot figure out my answer…*sigh* I know that definitely I couldn’t make it in December, it’s Christmas month!. January… also there’s an important date, on 24th, JBoy and Daddy’s birthday. Ohhh… I just couldn’t make up mind…*sigh*

'LIHING' or 'HIING'

Sounds very familiar right... 'lihing' soup is very famous to all MOMMIES after gave birth. I myself consumed 'lihing' all the way during my confinement (to all my 3 kids) and never get bored though... ohhh! I feel that I wanna cook 'ayam kampung' with 'lihing' tonight...taaaaapun!

By the way, I came across about 'LIHING' on last Sunday's paper, reported by Herman, The Flying Dusun, New Sabah Times, October 12, 2008. I think it's good for me to put it in my blog and to share to other people about our local product...*wink*

Sabah’s Very Own Rice Wine

Like most cultures in this world, the local people of Borneo have found ways of transforming their staple-food into alcohol, and none of the worst! In the making of lihing (Kadazan-Penampang for Rice Wine), nothing but ‘pulut’, glutinous rice rich in sugar, and natural yeast, called ‘sasad’ and also made from rice, enter the preparations. Sometimes, lihing is referred to as hiing (certain Kadazan-Dusun languages), and others call it kinomol, sagantang, kinarung, kinopi, linahas, and even tapai. They are all different (but always fermented, rice-based) beverages. Tapai proper is actually wine made from the tuber of the cassava plant, the preferred party drink of the Murut. To add to the confusion, the Iban of Sarawak call their rice wine tuak, which must not be confused with Sabahan talak, which is rice-alcohol (and arak in Malay just means’alcohol’…). Rice wine accompanies all Kadazan-Dusun celebrations and rites, and at a Murut party there will be rows upon rows of jars with fermented cassava tapai. It is an integral part of the lives of Sabah’s ethnic groups, and depending on where you are there are various ways of enjoying this drink: from bamboo or, more contemporary, plastic cups, or through a bamboo straw – and even that one comes in a modern version: a thin plastic hose… If you visit a local home you will most probably get a taste of rice wine. Refusing the first cup is not polite, but subsequent rounds can be skipped. Simply enjoy the round with the locals, sit back and let yourself be entertained…
